"I feel our music is pretty all encompassing. While we lean more into the 90s alt-rock shoegaze side, we do listen to a variety of different genres ranging from classical music, indie folk, classic rock and hardcore. Those influences shine through a bit in some songs, I think anyway. Lyrically, most of our songs are pretty heavy in subject matter, but we sprinkle a bit of optimism every now and again. We’re a moody bunch but we’re generally pretty upbeat and oftentimes hilarious to be around. Our biggest influences are Slowdive, Wolf Alice, Hum, Radiohead, Elliott Smith. Other Canadian artists we’re inspired by include Softcult, Zoon, Late Kings and Talking Violet just to name a few. Seeing collectives like Loveless thrive is also a huge inspiration for us, we’re really grateful to be apart of this festival as many of the bands are peers of ours as well!
